Symbol of Faith

It maybe that, those ignorant will say, oppressed and beautiful
girl, know the new way. They will tease and taunt, beg her to flaunt, show me your hair, just for today! Why hide that beauty
and cover your splendor? Does your religion belittle you and entrap you forever?
She is hurt and angry. Who are they to say all those ignorant
things, in their ignorant way? Be harsh with them not, for they do not know. What is your reason, that your
hair you don't show. Only tell them kindly, and be tender still. That's the way it should be if Allah would will. I am not
belittle, I am not oppressed, I am not entrapped, as you might have guessed.
Infact, I am guarded, with full dignity and pride. I am
given respect for the beauty i hide. Not whistled or called at, by those with no shame. They lower their gaze, and call
me by name. I am not an object, or in men's desire, I am not like the others, infact I am inspired.
The woman is a jewel, as Allah has said.
Don't neglect the value, protect it instead. I will follow Allah in his every command, for this religion of truth, I will
boldly stand. With my head held high, marching everyday. Glowing with pride, I wear my symbol of faith!

The Way I am Dressed
You look at me and call me oppressed, Simply because
of the way I'm dressed, You know me not for what's inside, You judge the clothing I wear with pride, My body's not
for your eyes to hold, You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mold,
I'm an individual, I'm no mans slave, It's Allah's pleasure that I only crave, I have a voice so I will be heard, For
in my heart I carry His word,
"O ye women, wrap close your cloak, So you won't be bothered by ignorant folk", Man doesn't tell me to dress
this way, It's a Law from God that I obey,
Oppressed is something I'm truly NOT, For liberation is what I've got, It was given to me many years ago, With
the right to prosper, the right to grow,
I can climb mountains
or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all
degrees, For God Himself gave us LIB-ER-TY, When He sent Islam, To You and Me!

HiJaBi What
do you see when you look at me? Do you see someone limited, or someone free? All some people do is look at me and stare, all simply
because they cannot see my hair Others think I am controlled and uneducated. They think I am limited and unliberated. They
are so thankful that they are not me. Because they would like to remain "free"?
Well free isn't actually the
word I would've used to describe women who are cheated and abused. They think that I do not have opinions or voice. They
think that being hooded is not my choice.
They think that the hood makes me look caged. That my husband
or dad are totally outraged. All they can do is look at me in fear, and in my eye there is a tear.
Not for being
stared are or made fun of, but because they are ignoring the one up above. On the day of judgement they will be the fools
for being too ashamed to play by the rules.
Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie but at least I am filled with more
inner beauty. See I have declined from being a guy's toy because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy.
Real men
are able to appreciate my mind and arent busy looking at my behind. The smart ones are attracted by my tranquility, in
their minds they wish they were me.
We have the strength to do what we think is right, even if it means puttin on a
lifelong fight. So when people ask how you feel about the hood...jus sum it up by saying "baby its all good!"

Map to Paradise
Its hard for a bird to fly through the air with water on its wings.
What about
us flying to Jannah, when its the whole world that we cling?
We have the map to
Paradise, yet behind our backs it gets hurled.
The path to Jannah gets abandoned out of love for this world.
Left and right Muslims are selling their faith for temporary pleasures.
Because many have lost sight of the Jannah and its everlasting treasures.
There's only one path to Paradise, and following vain desires is not the way.
Its time to turn back to Allah's map, there's more to this life then just play.
Its a blessing to be a Muslim; considering how many others are lost.
Yet the title of a Muslim is nothing if our submission we have tossed.
This life is so short; come on listen
up, this aint some sort of joke.
If we don't get our acts together, in the next life we may go up in smoke
Lets
turn back to Allah, come on, lets not waste another day.
Lets get back on track. Oh Allah, from the true path, don't let us sway!
Lets seek our help from Allah, we
got to follow Him as much as we can.
If your not using the map to Jannah; where are you going, what's your plan?
This life is so short, lets wake up and see where were heading.
We have the map to Paradise, so on it lets get up and start treading.
The web of a spider
is weak, yet it overpowers the fly.
This dunyah is worthless, so don't let its web catch your eye.

Who am I?
I have much reason to rejoice, And praise Allah in a grateful
voice, Because Im happy and content, With all the favours Allah sent.
He created me so perfectly, And did it all so lovingly, While
showing me the way to go, No wonder that I love Him so.
Therefore to Him I bow and pray, And try to obey Him every day, While
believing in His Prophets too, Who came to show us what to do.
In Allahs Books I do believe, And in the Guidance I receive, And
I believe in His Angels too, Who have special things to do.
One more thing Id like to say, Therel be another life one day, And
this I do believe my friend, That death is not the final end.
So I am a Muslim, as you can see, A special person, you
must agree, That's who I am and I'm so proud I feel like saying it loud and loud!
